Britney Spears turns 30

Hollywood FAQs: After suffering turmoil in her personal life, pop star Britney Spears turned 30 on December 2, 2011. Many of Spear’s fans thought that she will not be able to make it to her 30th birthday due to her mental health taking a toll on her. But now the ‘Stonger’ singer has come out successfully leaving behind her troubled past. Britney is now finally settled with her boyfriend Jason Trawick and reports say that the two are discussing marriage and are also planning a baby.

Spears started off 13 years back when she appeared on the US TV show Star Search and even appeared in various advertisements. The singer got her major break when she got a part in the Mickey Mouse Club along with the giants Christina Aguilera and Justin Timberlake in the year 1992. The ‘Lucky’ singer then signed with Jive Records and released her debut album ‘Baby One More Time’. The album also reached to the number one spot on the US Billboard charts.

Later, the singer released seven albums and went on to sell millions of copies around the globe and was also engaged in five world tours. Amidst all the starry status and glitter, the singing sensation could not manage her personal life. Britney dated singer Justin Timberlake for a while and then got married to a childhood friend while she was on a trip to Las Vegas. Unfortunately, the wedding was annulled just 55 hours later.

Then came her backing dancer Kevin Federline, with whom the singer got married and even had two children Sean and Jayden. But in the year 2006, the couple divorced and Britney could not control her emotions in public. The singer shaved her head and was spotted attacking a car with an umbrella. As a result of this act, the ‘Gimme More’ singer lost custody of her sons and went to the rehab. But now Miss Spears has now come back, but has still received some slight criticism for her performance. Nevertheless, her Femme Fatale tour was a success as was her latest album. Will we be seeing Britney in another movie after Crossroads? We just hope so.
