Sunday saw the 2017 MTV VMAs take place with the winner of the night being Kendrick Lamar, the undisputed best rapper of the year. Hosted by Katy Perry, there were a number of performances, including one by DNCE and Sir Rod Stewart. Lorde had a throat problem so she just did her usual awkward dance in silver foil. And Taylor Swift debuted her video for Look What You Made Me Do that had the world’s jaws drop to the floor.
