Logan seems to be doing fantastically well in theatres, the final adieu to Hugh Jackman’s well-played character. But there is one superhero taking hilarious digs at the movie – and that one belongs to Ryan Reynolds in the latest trailer for Deadpool 2. The teaser trailer showed up just before Logan aired in theatres, and audiences can’t wait to get more of the most obnoxious hero in the Marvel universe.

The trailer ruthlessly lampoons Spiderman and Logan. It is a short film that shows Wade Wilson, played by Ryan Reynolds, find that an old man is in trouble with a robber in a back alley. Wade then makes his way into a phone booth, where he takes too long to get himself dressed up in his Deadpool suit. Also, we get to see Reynolds’ butt pressed against the glass of the booth, thank you very much. And also, Logan is shown playing in the theatre in the background. And what comes off as Spiderman’s Uncle Ben, the poor old man is shot and killed. Ah, Deadpool!

And yes, there’s a cameo by the great Stan Lee, who comments about Deadpool’s suit. And then Deadpool goes on to mock the Australian accent of Hugh Jackman as Wolverine, as he relaxes near dead Uncle Ben and goes for his ice-cream. The credits begin to roll, but its actually a copy of Ernest Hemingway’s The Old Man And The Sea. If you also check the YouTube description, it hilariously says: “Wade and the other girls from the Sisterhood Of The Traveling Pants plan a trip to Cabot Cave.” Again, making fun of Ryan Reynolds’ real-life wife, Blake Lively, who had a role in the famous movie.

The original Deadpool movie grossed a total of $783 million worldwide, becoming the highest-grossing R-rated film of all time and earning Reynolds’ respect after his debacle in Green LanternDeadpool writer Rhett Reese had stated that this short film, or trailer titled No Good Deed will not be a part of the upcoming sequel to Marvel hit.

Deadpool 2 is all set for a 2018 release.
