Teen sensation Justin Bieber wins four awards at 2010 American Music Awards

The 2010 American Music Awards (AMA) was dominated by teen pop sensation Justin Bieber, who beat veteran performers for the title of “Artist of the year” and three other trophies, on Sunday night. Fans voted online and chose Bieber over Eminem, Kesha, Lady Gaga and Katy Perry for the top honours of the night.

Bieber managed to pull down Usher, who not even helped with his career launch, but also guided with his career; besides beating Eminem, by grabbing favorite rock or pop male artist. Bieber called Usher “not only my mentor, but my best friend and my big brother. I want to thank Michael Jackson, because without Michael Jackson none of us would be here,” Bieber said.

Meanwhile Usher bagged two awards of his own including favorite male soul. Rapper Nicki Minaj, announced her upcoming album release at the event. While Brad Paisley won the favorite country male artist award.
