Paris doesn’t seem to be doing any good for reality TV star, Kim Kardashian West. Just last week, she was kissed on her derrière by a celebrity prankster. And now, something quite terrifying happened to her that has the media going in a frenzy and made her husband, Kanye West stop his concert in New York after hearing about the “emergency”. Kim Kardashian was robbed at gunpoint right in her hotel room.

So, how, when, what, why did this happen?! Well, Kim was in France for Paris Fashion Week 2016 and had recently posted a picture on her social media of her attending an event sans makeup. The next thing we know, we hear stories about how 2-3 men dressed up as policemen managed to gain access to her hotel room and rob MILLIONS worth of jewelry at gunpoint and leave the premises without being detected. How much was her bling worth? The jewelry alone was worth an estimated $6.7 million dollars, while another ring was stolen that was worth another few millions alone.

Balenciaga. No make up today.

It is said that the assailants were led by the hotel concierge around 02.30am (local time) and were dressed as local policemen. They apparently tied Kardashian and kept her locked in the bathroom while they made off with the valuables. Police have cordoned off the area and are still investigating the robbery, though no suspect has been caught as of now. She was staying in a private residential suite and it is also not yet known if she was alone or if her children, North and Saint were present at the time of the crime.

Since the announcement, Kardashian is said to be “shaken”, but otherwise physically unharmed and has flown back to the United States from Paris aboard her private jet. Celebrity friends of the star, including Chrissy Teigen and James Corden are coming to her defence, as the Internet began to troll her and say that this was a publicity stunt to garner further attention and that there was no need to have such expensive jewelry in the first place.
