Winter is coming! And we are looking forward to sitting glued to our television sets with the streamline of new TV shows coming our way this fall. Here’s a complete list of shows we recommend this season.

Premiere Date: September 20 at 10 pm on NBC

About the show: The show is a provocative dramedy about the lives of an ensemble. It highlights how their paths cross and their life stories intertwine in mysterious ways. The dream team comprises of Mandy Moore, Chris Darden, Jess Mariano and Justin Hartley as the icing on the cake.

2. DESIGNATED SURVIVOR

Premiere Date: September 21 at 10 pm on ABC

About the show: Kiefer Sunderland takes up the role of the big man in this new drama series, moving from saving the president to being the president. More previews of the show are hitting the airwaves.

About the show: This is a new baseball series that takes a look into the life of the first woman to pitch in Major League Baseball. Starring on the new series are Kylie Bunbury, Ali Larter, Mark-Paul Gosselaar, Mark Consuelos and Dan Lauria.

4. THE GOOD PLACE

Premiere Date: September 19 at 10 pm on NBC

About the show: Eleanor (Kristen Bell), a New Jersey woman, comes to terms with the fact that she hasn’t been a good person. She decides it’s time to turn over a new leaf. Unlikely circumstances bring Michael (Ted Danson) and Eleanor together. Michael ends up becoming Eleanor’s guide on her journey of self-improvement. And guess what… it’s set in heaven!

About the show: The series is based on a movie that features the same name. It is about a cop (Peyton List) who uses a CB radio to connect with her dead father (alive in the past).

6. SPEECHLESS

Premiere Date: September 21 at 8.30 pm on ABC

About the show: Minnie Driver, who stars as Maya DiMeo, is a mom who has set out to do anything necessary for her husband Jimmy and her children Ray, Dylan, and JJ. JJ, the eldest son, has special needs. Maya fights both real and imaginary injustices as the DiMeo family works to make themselves a home as they look for the perfect person to give JJ his “voice.” Other stars in the series include Mason Cook, John Ross Bowie, Cedric Yarbrough, Kyla Kennedy and Micah Fowler.

7. NOTORIOUS

Premiere Date: September 22 at 9 pm on ABC

About the show: The show features stars Daniel Sunjata (Graceland) and Piper Perabo (Covert Affairs) and is born out of the friendship of executive producers Mark Geragos and Wendy Walker. The series will take a look at the intriguing interaction between criminal law and the media.

About the show: The show is a romantic comedy featuring Joshua Sasse and Tori Anderson and comes with an apocalyptic twist.

9. AMERICAN HOUSEWIFE

Premiere Date: October 11 at 8.30 pm on ABC

About the show: The show features Mike and Molly’s Katy Mixon. Katy plays Katie Otto, a confident and unapologetic “plump” wife and mother. She moves her family to Westport, Conn., a wealthy town. The town is full of “perfect” families. While living there, hijinks ensue. Other stars in the series include Diedrich Bader, Ali Wong, Sarah Dunn, Johnny Sequoyah, Daniel DiMaggio, Julia Butters and Carly Hughes.

10. CONVICTION

About the show: The series is a scandal-filled drama that features Hayley Atwell playing a former First Daughter-turned-attorney.

11. TIMELESS

Premiere Date: October 3 at 10 pm on NBC

About the show: Is it possible for a group of travelers to keep a villain from making changes in the past that would ultimately change the future in this time-travel drama? The stars include Matt Lanter and Abigail Spencer.

About the show: This is a show that is a blend of animation and live-action. It follows the story of Cheryl Hines and He-man (voiced by Jason Sudeikis), her ex-husband.

About the show: Borrowing from a movie, the show features Damon Wayans and Clayne Crawford as mismatched detectives getting out on action-packed adventures.

14. THE EXORCIST

About the show: Geena Davis is back on TV for yet another movie adaptation. Her daughter is different. Strange demonic things await her.

15. BULL

Premiere Date: September 20 at 9 pm on CBS

About the show: This is a drama inspired by Dr. Phil McGraw’s early career. It follows the charming but brilliant Dr. Bull (Michael Weatherly from NCIS) who uses psychology, human intuition and a host of high-tech data to understand what makes witnesses, jurors, attorneys and the accused tick.

About the show: Kevin James (King of Queens) is back on network TV, this time playing a retired cop who only wants to spend more time with his wife and three children. However, he finds out that it’s harder for him at home than it was out on the streets.

17. PURE GENIUS

About the show: This is a medical drama  with a futuristic twist. The story revolves around a young Silicon Valley tech-head, Augustus Prew who recruits Dermot Mulroney, a veteran surgeon with a checkered past, to start a futuristic hospital with a “new school” approach to medicine. Pure Genius has an intriguing premise and the trailer has a nice little twist that could make this a pleasant surprise.

About the show: Matt LeBlanc comes back to network TV in a sitcom that follows a contractor who begins to spend more time with the kids following his wife’s return to work.

About the show: Joel McHale, an adventure reporter, becomes the boss to a bunch of millennials and has to adapt to the times in the digital department of his magazine. This multi-cam comedy also features Chris Williams, Stephen Fry, Susannah Fielding, Shaun Brown and Christine Ko.
