Ciara And Russell Wilson Finally Say, “I DO!”

Singer Ciara and her Seattle Seahawks quarterback partner, Russell Wilson have said their “I Do” to each other as of yesterday. The super romantic wedding ceremony took place in front of 100 family and close friends at the Peckforton Castle in the United Kingdom. The star couple booked the entire venue for their private ceremony and didn’t even allow their guests to carry their cell phones with them to keep the paparazzi well out of the way. However, they did share the good news and a couple of images through their official Instagram accounts.

The bride wore a lacy white gown designed by Roberto Cavalli, with a white corset and boho lace bell sleeves, while her sportsman groom was decked in a tux. Best friends-turned-bridesmaids included Kelly Rowland and Jennifer Hudson, though Serena Williams was absent due to her entering the semi-finals at Wimbledon.

Reports had first surfaced of the nuptials when TMZ Sports reported that the loved-up duo were in England and shared a snap of them on their way to the venue. Close sources reported that Ciara was nervous just before she walked down the aisle to her future, but excited to begin her new life as Mrs. Wilson. In truth, they had already legally gotten married in the United States and received their marriage certificate before throwing a star-studded celebration in the United Kingdom. Also, it is reported that they indulged in their own intimate time, since they had abstained from getting into a physical relationship before marriage.

This is the first marriage for both of them. Ciara was previously in a long-term relationship and finally engaged to rapper, Future. They share a son, baby Future and custody, though that battle seems to be raging on with both hurling accusations and insults at each other in the public eye. Russell, on the other hand, has been mostly low-profile and this is his first significant relationship. He is a known devout Christian.
