Hollywood FAQs: American actor and director George Clooney has turned 50 on May 6 and still looks like he is ready for more movies. Throughout his career, the actor has contributed a lot to Hollywood in a variety of roles.

The remarkable works of the actor include ‘Rosanne’ and ‘The Facts Of Life’. But Clooney got the real recognition, when he played the role of Dr. Doug Ross in ‘ER’. The actor contributed his skills to ER for five years from 1994 to 1999.

He later moved on to Hollywood and acted in ‘From Dusk To Dawn’, ‘Out Of Sight’, and ‘Three Kings’. Clooney also played the role of Batman in ‘Batman and Robin’ in the year 1997. Since then, the actor never looked back and went on to become commercially successful.

Clooney appeared in the huge projects like ‘O Brother Where Art Thou?’ and ‘The Perfect Storm’. The star acted along with Matt Damon and Brad Pitt in Oceans 11, which also took off with two more sequels. In 2002, Clooney donned the cap of the director for the first time with ‘Confessions of A Dangerous Mind’. After its success, he went on to direct Good Night, and Good Luck in 2005 and Leatherheads in 2008.

George Clooney has also been considered to be one of the most eligible bachelors in Hollywood.
