British actress and writer Tina Malone of ‘Shameless’ fame revealed that she is five weeks pregnant at the age of 50. The actress also went on to say that she managed to conceive through a successful IVF procedure. Malone announced the happy news on TV with her husband Paul Chase.
The star, already a mother to a 19-year-old daughter from her previous relationship, claims that she is ready for any pitfalls and problems. Malone said, “I think it’s important that I’m much more healthy than I was 20 years ago”. The ‘Shameless’ actress revealed that she has had ECGs, blood tests and everything else needed done.
The actress believes that she is physically, mentally, emotionally and even financially better than 20 years ago. So far, the couple does not know if the two embryos planted have taken, but the star speculates that she could be expecting twins.
Malone said, “I’ve got indigestion already which indicates a girl- but I’ve also put on about eight pounds around my back in four weeks, so that indicates a boy”. The actress added that she would be more than happy to have twins. Malone added that she would write books, cook in her country kitchen and bring up her babies.
