Backstreet Boys receive star on Hollywood Walk Of Fame

American band Backstreet Boys have received the 2,495th star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. The group of five members including Nick Carter, A. J. McLean, Kevin Richardson, Howie Dorough and Brian Littrell were all accompanied by their respective family members during the event at Hollywood Boulevard, along with a large number of fans.

The boys took turns to pose with their loved ones, along with their brand new shiny star. The sidewalk was stuffed with female admirers and fans who were ready to take pictures with their cameras and cellphones. The boy band was formed in the year 1993 in Florida and enjoyed success in the US and Europe, selling more than 130 million records across the globe.

In the past, the popular hit of the band ‘I Want It That Way’ topped the music charts in more than 25 countries. The boy-band have started working on a new album which will be released later in the year 2013. The group also became the top selling boy band of all time and have planned a world tour, which will begin in the month of May 2013.

In recent times, the Backstreet Boys have been busy performing and welcoming new little family members. On Monday, A J was seen kissing his baby daughter’s head in a group picture with family members.
