German-American model Heidi Klum will soon appear on NBC’s reality show America’s Got Talent. The actress will be seen as a judge and the news was announced by the network on March 4, 2013.
Klum said, “I just arrived in New Orleans and it was hard to go to sleep last night. I’m not sure who will be more nervous though – me or the contestants!” The model, while talking about the fellow judges on the show, said that she always wanted to work with Howard Stern as he is funny smart, charming and handsome.
The president of NBC alternative and late night programming – Paul Telegdy, said that Heidi had an amazing career across all media platforms and has also built a brand which is a force in the entertainment business. In the statement Telegdy added that the actress has achieved super-stardom while balancing being a businesswoman and a hard working mom.
Telegdy also said that Klum’s addition has brought huge experience, discernment and taste to the panel. The president went on to say that the contestants will benefit from Heidi’s international sensibility and understanding of what works in today’s global entertainment industry. The 39-year-old will join fellow judges like Howie Mandel, Howard Stern and Mel B on the popular talent show.
