Adele to be immortalized at Madame Tussauds

The next celebrity to be immortalized in Madame Tussauds waxwork is none other than the British songstress – Adele. The Oscar winning star will join the list of other musical celebrities like Beyonce, Amy Winehouse and Rihanna, in having her wax statue displayed at the famous museum.

The London PR of Madame Tussauds, Nicole Fenner said, “Adele is the perfect addition to the music line up here in London”. Fenner added that Adele is presently the world’s hottest property and is also one of the most requested personalities.

The PR went on to say that they have, in recent times, received several requests for her figure, ever since the movie Skyfall was released. Now the timing seems perfect to honor the ‘Rolling In The Deep’ singer, as she is riding a wave of success. Adele has also become one of the most influential British female artists. The ‘Set Fire to the Rain’ singer will also draw crowds to the museum and that is another reason the management may have decided to go with her.

Fenner added, that they were eager to welcome the ‘Someone Like You’ singer to Madame Tussauds. Adele’s figure is expected to be unveiled in the month of July 2013, while wearing a polka dotted dress, as this pays homage to her Grammy ensemble as well. Another identical model of the figure will be displayed at the wax museum’s Amsterdam branch.
