Britney Spears has failed to live up to Simon Cowell’s expectations and has apparently turned out to be too boring for X Factor USA. As a result, this would be the ‘Oops…I Did It Again’ singers first and last season of the show which she co-judged in 2012.
As the popular popstar failed to be her crazy self on the show, Simon is planning to drop her for the next season after USA finale lost viewers, if popular reports are to be believed. Britney was paid a hefty sum of $15 million to be a part of the show in 2012.
Another judge of X Factor USA – L.A. Reid, has already confirmed that he will not be continuing with the next season of the show. Britney would not be the first judge to be fired, as Cowell has fired judges Paula Abdul, Nicole Scherzinger and host Steve Jones in the past to bring positive results and success to the show.
Since 2011, Cowell had tried his best to improve the viewership of the show and bring its popularity to the level of the British version of X Factor. However, none of his efforts, including adding a big name like Britney Spears could help him achieve the much needed results.
