Electronic music star Deadmau5 and tattoo artist Kat Von D started dating in the month of September, 2012. The Canadian DJ took to his Twitter account over the weekend to share an intimate moment along with his 1.8 million followers, as he proposed online to his on-and-off girlfriend Kat Von D.
The 31-year-old tweeted, “I can’t wait for Christmas so…. Katherine Von Drachenberg, will you marry me?” Apart from the proposal, Deadmau5, whose actual name is Joel Thomas Zimmerman, attached a picture of the engagement ring to the post, which also had an explanation.
It said, “Changing the diamond to a black diamond FYI. Sorry for the jpg . . . they’ll finish the actual ring soon I hope. I love u.” The good thing was that Kat Von D, the former ‘L.A Ink’ star, accepted the proposal through the social network and wrote, “Mi corazon! Thank you all for the lovely congratulations! Please excuse me while I go squeeze the hell out of my fiance!”
The musician was happy at the acceptance and thanked everyone for their wishes and support. For the tattoo artist, this will be his first marriage as he looks to a great year ahead with his bride-to-be.
