Jon Bon Jovi’s daughter Stephanie arrested for possession of heroin

Veteran rock singer Jon Bon Jovi’s 19-year-old daughter Stephanie Bongiovi was recently found unresponsive due to a drug overdose. Campus police at Hamilton College broke the news and Bongiovi was the taken to hospital and was charged with drug possession.

Stephanie was found unconscious in Dunham Hall dorm shortly after 2 am and was not responding to stimuli. This was due to a suspected heroin overdose at her Little Ivy upstate New York College on November 14, 2012. The the 19-year-old was arrested on drug charges as she recuperated at the hospital.

Bongiovi is the only daughter of the veteran ‘It’s My Life’ singer. Police said that a fellow New Jersey native Ian S Grant, who is also a Hamilton graduate made the call for help, but was later arrested in connection with the incident. Peter Cania, an investigator said that Stephanie was unresponsive when they arrived and was immediately rushed to hospital. Investigators found heroine at the scene and also recovered marijuana and glassine envelopes after obtaining a search warrant.

Cania also said that Bongiovi was arrested in the hospital on the charges of misdemeanor, possession of heroin, marijuana possession and criminally using paraphernalia.
