Lindsay Lohan appeals not to spread panic due to storm Sandy

While the superstorm Sandy is creating havoc across the eastern seaboard, actress Lindsay Lohan has offered her views on the devastation. The actress appealed on her Twitter page not to panic and stop projecting negativity.

Lohan Tweeted, “WHY is everyone in SUCH a panic about hurricane (i’m calling it Sally)..? Stop projecting negativity! Think positive and pray for peace”. The actress also tweeted the hashtag #hurricanesassy, which later had its own Wikipedia page.

Even actress Mindy Kaling was unimpressed by the storm and tweeted, “9 months from now hopefully we will have some cool Hurricane Sandy babies! On the west coast we never get to bond over weather panic. We’re like oh no an earthquake for 2 seconds, then go to spin class or whatever”.

More celebrities like Kim Kardashian, Melissa Joan Hart and Jerry Seinfeld shared their views on the scary and devastating Sandy. The storm had claimed about 33 lives when initial reports came in. On October 30, 2012 millions of people woke up without electricity. New York City faced a closure as cars and trains were stalled. The death toll has now climbed to 35, and most of the deaths have been caused due to falling trees.
