Alec Baldwin thrown out of American Airlines flight for non co-operation?

Hollywood FAQs: American actor Alec Baldwin was recently asked to leave an American Airlines flight while in Los Angeles. On December 6, 2011, a flight reportedly attendant prevented the ‘Outside Providence’ actor from playing a game on his smartphone before the plane departed.

Baldwin later Tweeted about the incident saying, ‘”Flight attendant on American reamed me out 4 playing WORDS W FRIENDS while we sat at the gate, not moving. #nowonderamericaairisbankrupt,”. Moreover, many other passengers on the flight noticed the incident and also Tweeted the event.

On the other hand, the representative of the actor told the reporters that Alec was asked to leave the flight for playing words with Friends, which is a scrabble like game. The representative added that Alec loved the game so much that left the plane and boarded another flight.

According to the eye witnesses, the ’30 Rock’ actor was also talking on phone and when the crew member prevented him, he became violent, aggressive and abusive. Later, Baldwin tweeted that the flight attendants on his next flight looked smarter. Alec mentioned that the flight that he boarded had retired Catholic school gym teachers from the 50’s who find jobs as flight attendants. Even American Airlines wrote on their Twitter account that their flight attendants were following the federal safety procedures on electronic devices when the aircraft door is closed.
